IFCCA General Assembly 2025
Our 2025 General Assembly took place in Brussels on 31 May, bringing together representatives from over 35 member organisations, along with three new associations who have expressed interest in joining the EFCCA family.
It was a weekend filled with meaningful discussions, strategic planning, and the sharing of experiences that continue to strengthen our global community.
During the EFCCA General Assembly held in Brussels on 31 May 2025, a new Board was elected.
We are pleased to introduce the IFCCA Board 2025:
Chairperson – Salvo Leone
Treasurer – Marko Perovic
Board Member – Candida Cruz
Board Member – Josef Busuttil
Board Member – Magdalena Sajak-Szczerba
We are confident that this diverse and experienced team will lead IFCCA into its next phase with purpose and passion.
IFCCA: A New Chapter for the Global IBD Community
A significant milestone was marked at this year’s General Assembly: EFCCA is now officially IFCCA – the International Federation of Crohn’s and Ulcerative Colitis Associations. This name change reflects our growing global reach and renewed commitment to representing the voice of people with IBD worldwide.
