World IBD Day 2026 Conference Report Now Available

The World IBD Day 2026 Conference Report is now available, capturing the key discussions, insights and recommendations from the International World IBD Day Roundtable and Asia-Pacific Networking Meeting held in Singapore on 16 May 2026.

Organised by IFCCA in collaboration with the Crohn's & Colitis Society of Singapore (CCSS), the meeting brought together patient representatives, healthcare professionals and international partners to explore the barriers that continue to affect equitable access to IBD care. The report highlights shared priorities identified by participants from across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond, including timely diagnosis, access to treatment, reducing stigma, supporting mental health, strengthening patient engagement and improving quality of care.

The report also outlines key recommendations for future advocacy, emphasising the importance of international collaboration to improve access to quality IBD care worldwide. The insights gathered during the meeting will also contribute to the ongoing development of the Global IBD Patient Charter, a patient-led initiative to define shared principles for quality IBD care while recognising regional healthcare realities.
