World IBD Day Report 2026

We are pleased to share our World IBD Day 2026 Report, capturing the collective efforts of people living with IBD, patient advocates, healthcare professionals, researchers, patient organisations and partners around the world.

Under this year’s theme, “IBD Has No Borders: Access to IBD Care,” communities around the world came together on 19 May and throughout the month to highlight inequalities in access to diagnosis, treatment, specialist care and support, while bringing the voices of people living with IBD to the centre of the conversation.

From awareness campaigns and community events to educational activities, research initiatives, media appearances and calls for change, the report reflects the many ways the global IBD community came together around a shared goal: care should not depend on where you live.

We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to making World IBD Day 2026 a moment of solidarity, visibility and action. Together, we continue working towards a world where everyone living with IBD can access the care they need.
