New webinar: “Let’s Talk Endoscopy: A Shared Language for IBD Care”

Let’s Talk Endoscopy: A Shared Language for IBD Care

Join us for a live webinar, “Let’s Talk Endoscopy: A Shared Language for Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Care”, taking place online on 21 April 2026, from 17:00 to 18:00 CET.

Hosted by IFCCA in partnership with Johnson & Johnson, this interactive session will launch Let’s Talk Endoscopy— a new patient resource designed to help people living with IBD better understand endoscopy and feel more confident discussing it with their healthcare teams.

Endoscopy plays a key role in the diagnosis and management of IBD, yet it can often feel complex and difficult to understand. This session will bring together patient advocates and clinical experts to explore how improving language and communication around endoscopy can help patients feel better informed, more confident, and more supported in their care journey.

Speakers

  • Alexandra Mitria – Leader of the IFCCA Youth Group

  • Dr Al Bawardy – Gastroenterologist, King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, Saudi Arabia

  • Simona Radice – IBD nurse, Italy

Chair Luisa Avedano, IFCCA CEO

This webinar is open to patients, patient organisations, healthcare professionals, and anyone interested in improving communication and understanding in IBD care.
