IFCCA Conference at ECCO Congress 2026

On 18 February 2026, IFCCA hosted a conference during ECCO Congress in Stockholm, bringing together patient representatives, healthcare professionals and key stakeholders to discuss the role of patient perspectives in Health Technology Assessment (HTA).

Under the theme “HTA Regulation: Unlocking Access to Novel Drugs Through Patient Data”, the session explored how patient-generated insights and tools such as DIVA can support more patient-centred decision-making and improve access to innovative treatments for people living with IBD.

The conference highlighted the importance of collaboration between patients, clinicians, researchers and policymakers in shaping the future of IBD care.
