It is designed for people living with Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis and explains the different methods used to monitor Inflammatory Bowel Disease in a clear, accessible, and practical way. The resource aims to improve understanding of how monitoring supports treatment decisions, disease management, and long-term care.

It covers key monitoring approaches, including biomarker testing, imaging procedures, steroid use analysis, and patient-reported outcomes. It also explains why regular monitoring is important, what different tests can show, and how this information can support more informed discussions with healthcare teams.

By breaking down complex medical concepts into accessible language, the resource supports patient empowerment and shared decision-making, helping individuals with IBD to become more informed and engaged in their care journey.
